Responsibilities:

• Give precedence to road safety considerations when maneuvering tractor-trailers.
• Ensure both pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections are done meticulously to uphold roadworthiness.
• Develop efficient pathways to increase productivity and maintain on-time delivery schedules.
• Follow the specified guidelines for handling and packaging to secure the transportation of shipments.
• Effective communication with dispatchers and clients throughout deliveries is crucial for successful outcomes.
• Document hours clocked and regular vehicle servicing reliably.
• Abide by the safety protocols mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to safeguard workers and merchandise during transport.
• Act promptly to alert relevant parties of any vehicle concerns, occurrences, or infractions to guarantee regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Holding a current Class A CDL is mandatory.
• Clean driving record.
• Following the DOT's specifications for physical exams and drug screenings.
• Expertise in coordinating tasks and managing time effectively.
• Adept in securely and swiftly transporting heavy and voluminous objects.
• Skilled in customer relationship building and maintaining enduring connections with clients.
• Emphasis on maintaining a safe environment and adhering to regulatory standards, with a focus on reporting incidents in a timely manner.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• For entry-level commercial drivers, a 12-week structured training curriculum has been established to support accelerated learning. The training caters to individuals with varying levels of experience, from 3 months to over 5 years in the industry

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in handling different types of trailers, including dry van, reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Knowledge and practice in dealing with paired or tripled loads, the intermodal movement of freight, and the shipping of automobiles.
• Skillful in the management of household goods and distinctive cargo.
