Responsibilities:

• Make road safety a priority when operating large trucks.
• Check the vehicle thoroughly before setting off and after arriving at your destination to ensure that it is in a safe and roadworthy condition.
• Design effective transportation routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
• Adhere to guidelines for handling and packaging practices to guarantee the safe shipment of goods.
• Ensure transparent and effective interaction with both dispatchers and recipients during the delivery operation.
• Keep detailed records of work hours and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Follow the safety protocols established by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to safeguard both workers and the merchandise being transported
• Promptly communicate any vehicle issues, occurrences, or violations to ensure conformity with rules.

Qualifications:

• Possessing a Class A CDL for commercial driving purposes.
• Possessing a clear record behind the wheel. Meeting all DOT health assessment and substance screening standards.
• Demonstrating strong time management and task coordination expertise.
• Specialization in the safe and smooth conveyance of substantial and cumbersome goods.
• Proficient in offering exceptional customer service and proficient at fostering enduring client relationships.
• Ensuring a strong commitment to safety measures and compliance with regulations by promptly reporting incidents as needed.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A training plan lasting for 12 weeks, intended to expedite the learning process for individuals with different experience levels, varying between three months and five years plus

Preferred Experience:

• Ability to handle multiple trailer options, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers, with proficiency.
• Proficiency in managing dual or triple shipments, utilizing various transport modes, and transporting automobiles.
• Capability in managing household goods and specialized freight.
