Responsibilities:

• Give top priority to road safety when handling tractor-trailers.
• Verify the roadworthiness of the vehicle by conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Develop optimized delivery routes to streamline operations and ensure on-time deliveries are consistently met.
• Follow procedures for securely handling and packaging shipments to ensure their safe delivery.
• Ensure ongoing and transparent communication with dispatchers and recipients during deliveries.
• Keep detailed records of work hours and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to the safety procedures enforced by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the safety of both workers and the cargo being transported
• Speedily report any vehicle challenges, occurrences, or violations to ensure alignment with standards.

Qualifications:

• CDL that is classified as Class A is required.
• Possessing a clear record behind the wheel. Meeting all DOT health assessment and substance screening standards.
• Skillful management of time and coordination of tasks is highly valuable.
• Expertise in the safe and proficient transfer of bulky and weighty materials.
• Having excellent customer service aptitude and the capability to establish lasting relationships with clients.
• Emphasizing a commitment to safety measures and regulatory adherence, particularly by promptly reporting incidents as required.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A training plan lasting for 12 weeks, intended to expedite the learning process for individuals with different experience levels, varying between three months and five years plus

Preferred Experience:

• Skillful operation of diverse trailer types, encompassing dry vans, refrigerated units, flatbeds, and tankers.
• Proficiency in managing dual or triple shipments, utilizing various transport modes, and transporting automobiles.
• Proficiency in managing domestic items and specialized freight.
