Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy vehicles, specifically tractor-trailers, while emphasizing the importance of road safety and operational efficiency.
• Ensure the vehicle's roadworthiness by conducting thorough inspections before departure and upon completion of the trip.
• Develop strategic plans to improve the efficiency of delivery routes and ensure on-time arrivals.
• Maintain the safety of goods during shipment by adhering to proper handling and packaging protocols.
• Sustain clear and unwavering communication with dispatchers and clients.
• Maintain precise records of work hours and regularly check vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Maintain compliance by promptly reporting any vehicle issues, incidents, or violations.

Qualifications:

• A genuine Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
• Clean driving history without any serious violations.
• Adhering to the DOT's guidelines on physical health assessments and substance abuse tests.
• Effective abilities in managing time and organizing tasks are crucial.
• Ability to safely handle and transport massive or oversized loads with experience.
• Effective customer service skills underscored by a dedication to fostering meaningful connections.
• Demonstrating a dedication to safety measures and regulatory adherence, emphasizing the importance of promptly reporting incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Aptitude in driving different trailer configurations, like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Knowledge of coordinating and optimizing multiple unit operations, combined vehicle tasks, and multi-modal transportation strategies.
• Competence in the management of personal effects and specialized deliveries.
