Responsibilities:

• Emphasize the importance of road safety during the operation of tractor-trailers.
• Verify the roadworthiness of the vehicle by conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Establish efficient logistical routes to enhance effectiveness and ensure deliveries are made on time.
• Follow procedures for securely handling and packaging shipments to ensure their safe delivery.
• Sustain clear and frequent dialogue with dispatchers and clients throughout the delivery sequence.
• Maintain precise logs of working hours and scheduled vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to the safety regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to provide a secure environment for workers and the materials being conveyed
• Swiftly communicate any vehicle problems, events, or breaches to guarantee adherence to guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Necessity of a CDL that falls under the Class A category.
• Demonstrating a clean driving past. Adhering to DOT physical evaluation and drug screening obligations.
• Competence in coordinating tasks and managing time efficiently.
• Expertise in the safe and proficient transfer of bulky and weighty materials.
• Skilled in delivering exceptional customer service and adept at building enduring relationships with clients.
• Prioritizing safety and regulatory conformity in all operations, with an emphasis on promptly filing incident reports when necessary.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• An intensive 12-week training program formulated to enhance the learning experience, tailored for participants at varying experience levels from three months to over five years

Preferred Experience:

• Competency in navigating through a variety of trailers, including dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker models.
• Expertise in dealing with double or triple loads, interconnecting transportation modes, and hauling vehicles.
• Proficiency in the administration of household commodities and specialized merchandise.
