Key Responsibilities:

• Use tractor-trailers in a manner that prioritizes the safety of everyone sharing the roads.
• Regularly inspecting vehicles before and after journeys is essential to uphold their best operating conditions.
• Develop effective navigation plans to facilitate timely deliveries to assigned destinations.
• Comply with industry-recommended procedures for securing cargo to reduce risks and maintain the safety of operations.
• Cultivate transparent communication with stakeholders to facilitate accurate and timely deliveries.
• Record work hours and vehicle maintenance details meticulously to enhance productivity.
• Ensure strict observance of safety protocols and adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
• Promptly notify appropriate personnel of any vehicle-related issues, incidents, or infractions to uphold safety and compliance principles.

Qualifications:

• Having a current Class A driver’s license for commercial driving.
• Clean driving record.
• Meet the requirements of a DOT physical test and drug screening.
• Advanced understanding of DOT mandates and safety criteria.
• Demonstrating mastery in time allocation and organizational strategies.
• Experienced in the safe and efficient transport of heavy industrial equipment and machinery.
• Exceptional ability to communicate effectively and prioritize customer needs.
• Determined focus on safety and regulatory adherence, emphasizing the prompt reporting of vehicle issues or accidents.
