Responsibilities:

• Focus on ensuring safety measures are in place when driving tractor-trailers.
• Make sure to conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle assessments to secure the roadworthiness of the vehicle.
• Develop strategic routing plans to maximize efficiency and guarantee on-time delivery performance.
• Follow procedures for securely handling and packaging shipments to ensure their safe delivery.
• Foster open lines of communication with both dispatchers and clients throughout the delivery process.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of working hours and routine vehicle care.
• Comply with the safety measures mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) in order to secure the well-being of staff members and the products in transit
• Immediately notify authorities of any vehicle problems, incidents, or infractions to maintain adherence to rules.

Qualifications:

• Necessity of a CDL that falls under the Class A category.
• Keeping a clean driving record. Following DOT physical evaluation and drug screening regulations accordingly.
• Proficiency in time management and effective task coordination.
• Skilled in the secure and efficient movement of heavy and unwieldy items.
• Possessing outstanding customer service abilities along with the talent to establish enduring connections with clients.
• Demonstrating a firm dedication to safety standards and following regulations closely, especially in the timely reporting of any incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A 12-week structured training program designed to enhance learning rapidly for individuals with experience levels spanning from three months to over five years

Preferred Experience:

• Competency in navigating through a variety of trailers, including dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker models.
• Experience with handling multiple hauls, employing intermodal logistics, and transporting automobiles.
• Aptitude for overseeing domestic items and specialized loads.
