Responsibilities:

• Drivers of tractor-trailers play a critical role in maintaining road safety for all road users.
• Carry out detailed vehicle checks before and after trips to confirm their safety for driving.
• Formulate a strategic plan for organizing delivery routes that aims to optimize productivity and achieve timely deliveries.
• Guarantee the safe and secure transportation of shipments by following the specified regulations for handling and packaging.
• Consistently communicate clearly and efficiently with dispatchers and customers throughout every stage of the delivery procedure.
• Ensure precise documentation for both the hours devoted to work and the regular maintenance of your car.
• Abide by safety guidelines and rules enforced by the Department of Transportation to guarantee the safety of both workers and cargo during transportation.
• Quickly communicate any issues regarding vehicles, incidents, or violations to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Class A commercial driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and screening for substance abuse.
• Ability to manage time effectively and synchronize tasks efficiently.
• Expertise in the efficient and safe transportation of heavy and cumbersome items.
• Experienced in offering exemplary customer support, adept at building long-lasting relationships with clientele.
• Keep authorities informed of any problems or breaches concerning vehicles to promote safety and regulatory compliance.

Flatbed trailers have an open body with no sides or roof, commonly used for transporting oversized or oddly shaped cargo. Tanker trailers are specialized for transporting liquids or gases, with various designs based on the specific substance being transported
• The transportation of goods and vehicles can be facilitated using specialized methods like Doubles/Triples, Intermodal, and Auto Hauler
• Items falling under the category of household goods are commonly used in domestic environments
