Key Responsibilities:

• Protect the well-being of fellow motorists by securely driving tractor-trailers.
• Make sure the vehicle is operating properly by conducting comprehensive inspections before and after each trip.
• Develop a plan for delivery routes to guarantee on-time delivery at all destinations.
• Secure packing and transportation planning according to industry norms is necessary for the safety and protection of shipments.
• Smooth deliveries are only possible when drivers are equipped with effective communication skills for coordinated efforts with dispatchers and customers.
• Ensure efficiency and productivity by diligently recording work hours and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Maintaining compliance with safety protocols and DOT regulations is crucial for all personnel involved.
• Quick reporting of vehicle issues, accidents, or violations is necessary to ensure compliance with regulations and protect safety.

Qualifications:

• An authentic Class A CDL permit is a must-have.
• Clean driving record.
• An essential component of applying for a job includes successfully completing a DOT physical exam and drug screening.
• Proficient in regulations set by DOT and safety standards.
• Possess excellent organizational skills and demonstrate adeptness in managing time.
• Competent in handling and transporting weighty machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
