Responsibilities:

• Drive large trucks while prioritizing safe and effective transportation on highways.
• Perform comprehensive inspections before and after trips to verify the vehicle's safety and fitness for the road.
• Develop strategic plans to improve the efficiency of delivery routes and ensure on-time arrivals.
• Adhere to the correct protocols for handling and packaging to guarantee the secure shipment of items.
• Keep up a transparent and regular exchange of information with both dispatchers and clients.
• Keep precise track of hours worked and conduct regular vehicle maintenance inspections.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Timely reporting of any vehicle problems, incidents, or breaches is essential to maintain adherence with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a legitimate Class A Commercial Driver鈥檚 License (CDL).
• A spotless driving history with no significant infractions.
• Meeting the Department of Transportation's (DOT) physical and drug screening criteria.
• Effective abilities in managing time and organizing tasks are crucial.
• Proficiency in the secure management and transportation of bulky or excessively large cargo.
• Exceptional abilities in customer service with an emphasis on cultivating connections.
• Dedication to following safety measures and adhering to regulations, ensuring that incidents are reported promptly.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our organized 12-week training initiative for novice commercial drivers, aimed at enhancing skill progression for drivers with a background spanning from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Competence in maneuvering a variety of trailer models, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Proficiency in various operational procedures across multiple units, combined vehicle systems, and diverse transportation modes.
• Proficiency in managing domestic items and particular deliveries.
