Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguard the safety of all road users by responsibly driving tractor-trailers.
• To ensure the vehicle is in sound condition, conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Plan and organize delivery routes to meet delivery deadlines and ensure timely arrivals.
• The industry norms for safe transportation, including secure packaging and appropriate handling, ensure that all shipments reach their intended destination without any mishap.
• Proper communication between all parties involved in the delivery process is essential for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Monitor your working hours and vehicle maintenance logs to evaluate performance and thrive in your position.
• Adherence to safety protocols and DOT regulations is not only required, but is also a legal obligation for all individuals involved.
• Reporting vehicle issues, accidents, or violations promptly is necessary to ensure safety and follow regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Acquiring a legitimate and established Class A CDL license.
• Clean driving record.
• One of the primary prerequisites for being hired is the completion of a DOT physical exam and drug screening.
• A thorough understanding of DOT mandated regulations and safety guidelines.
• Show proficiency in time management and organizing tasks thoroughly.
• Experienced in using appropriate equipment to transfer hefty objects swiftly and securely.
