Responsibilities:

• Ensure that road safety remains a primary concern when operating large trailers.
• Verify the roadworthiness of the vehicle by conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Devise efficient shipment routes to optimize delivery processes and ensure punctual arrivals.
• Follow procedures for the proper handling and packaging of shipments to maintain their safety during transportation.
• Continually engage in clear communication with dispatchers and customers to facilitate smooth deliveries.
• Maintain precise logs of working hours and scheduled vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to the safety procedures enforced by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the safety of both workers and the cargo being transported
• Swiftly alert the appropriate parties about any vehicle concerns, occurrences, or infringements to uphold regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• A valid CDL with a Class A designation is necessary.
• Sustaining a flawless driving history. Meeting all requirements for DOT physical evaluations and drug screenings.
• Competence in coordinating tasks and managing time efficiently.
• Specialized knowledge in securely and efficiently transporting hefty and large items.
• Proficient in delivering top-notch customer service and adept at forging lasting relationships with clientele.
• Emphasizing a commitment to safety measures and regulatory adherence, particularly by promptly reporting incidents as required.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A training plan spread across 12 weeks that is tailored for swift learning progression, accommodating participants with varying experience levels of three months to more than five years

Preferred Experience:

• Skillful operation of diverse trailer types, encompassing dry vans, refrigerated units, flatbeds, and tankers.
• Skill in managing dual or triple cargo, combining intermodal transportation, and shipping vehicles.
• Proficiency in the administration of household commodities and specialized merchandise.
