Responsibilities:

• Perform duties involving the operation of tractor-trailers, with a firm commitment to road safety and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure the vehicle's roadworthiness by conducting thorough inspections before departure and upon completion of the trip.
• Enhance delivery route planning to improve efficiency and meet target delivery times.
• Maintain the safety of goods during shipment by adhering to proper handling and packaging protocols.
• Maintain consistent and clear communication with both dispatchers and clients.
• Maintain precise records of work hours and regularly check vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Conform to the safety regulations and guidelines stipulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Maintain compliance by promptly reporting any vehicle issues, incidents, or violations.

Qualifications:

• A genuine Class A Commercial Driver鈥檚 License (CDL) is required.
• Untarnished driving record with no major offenses.
• Adhering to the DOT's guidelines on physical health assessments and substance abuse tests.
• Possessing strong organizational skills and time management abilities is beneficial.
• Ability to safely handle and transport massive or oversized loads with experience.
• Strong focus on relationship-building in the delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrating a dedication to safety measures and regulatory adherence, emphasizing the importance of promptly reporting incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Aptitude in driving different trailer configurations, like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• In-depth understanding of managing multiple unit operations, combination vehicle tasks, and the complexities of multi-modal transportation.
• Competence in the management of personal effects and specialized deliveries.
