Responsibilities:

• Drive large trucks while prioritizing safe and effective transportation on highways.
• Confirm the roadworthiness of the vehicle through meticulous inspections before and after the journey.
• Develop strategic plans to improve the efficiency of delivery routes and ensure on-time arrivals.
• Follow the necessary protocols for handling and packaging to protect goods during transportation.
• Keep up a transparent and regular exchange of information with both dispatchers and clients.
• Keep careful records of work hours and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance reviews.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Reporting vehicle problems, incidents, or violations promptly is essential to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Meeting the requirements for a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• A spotless driving history with no significant infractions.
• Adhering to the DOT's expectations for physical examinations and substance abuse evaluations.
• Effective abilities in managing time and organizing tasks are crucial.
• Proficient in the safe and secure management of large or oversized cargo during transportation.
• Exceptional abilities in customer service with an emphasis on cultivating connections.
• Ensuring the consistent implementation of safety measures and compliance with regulations, including promptly reporting any incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Skill in managing various trailer models, like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Proficiency in various operational procedures across multiple units, combined vehicle systems, and diverse transportation modes.
• Proficiency in managing household belongings and unique cargo handling.
