Responsibilities:

• Give top priority to road safety when handling tractor-trailers.
• Make sure to conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle assessments to secure the roadworthiness of the vehicle.
• Design effective transportation routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
• Comply with regulations on handling and packaging to safeguard the movement of shipments.
• Ensure ongoing and transparent communication with dispatchers and recipients during deliveries.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of working hours and routine vehicle care.
• Follow the safety protocols established by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to safeguard both workers and the merchandise being transported
• Speedily report any vehicle challenges, occurrences, or violations to ensure alignment with standards.

Qualifications:

• Requirement for a Class A CDL for commercial driving.
• Maintaining an untainted driving background. Adhering to DOT physical examination and drug testing guidelines consistently.
• Proficiency in time management and effective task coordination.
• Specialization in the safe and smooth conveyance of substantial and cumbersome goods.
• Having excellent customer service aptitude and the capability to establish lasting relationships with clients.
• Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, with a specific emphasis on timely incident reporting.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• An accelerated learning program structured for a 12-week duration, suitable for individuals with experience levels ranging from three months to well over five years

Preferred Experience:

• Expertise in maneuvering through various trailer categories like dry vans, refrigerated units, flatbeds, and tankers.
• Proficient in managing simultaneous shipments, combining various modes of transport, and auto carriage.
• Aptitude for overseeing domestic items and specialized loads.
