Responsibilities:

• Safely handle tractor-trailers on the road while respecting traffic laws and guidelines.
• Carry out comprehensive pre- and post-trip vehicle checks to confirm compliance with safety requirements.
• Structure the distribution routes effectively to optimize performance and fulfill delivery deadlines.
• Preserve the integrity of cargo during transport by following industry regulations for its securement.
• Establish a cooperative relationship with dispatchers to enable the timely exchange of updates and maintain effective communication.
• Record hours, maintenance documentation, and delivery specifics meticulously.
• Speedily inform authorities of any accidents, equipment malfunctions, or violations.

Qualifications:

• Maintain a clean driving record in conjunction with a valid Class A CDL license.
• Competency in efficient time utilization and effective route planning.
• Proficiency in safely managing and moving heavy loads with physical prowess.
• Proficient in building relationships and offering excellent customer service.
