Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy-duty trucks while paying close attention to road safety and operational efficiency.
• Carry out meticulous pre-journey and post-journey checks to ascertain the road-readiness of the vehicle.
• Strategize ways to enhance route planning for improved efficiency and timely deliveries.
• Abide by the necessary procedures for handling and packaging to maintain the safety of the goods during transit.
• Uphold clear and cohesive communication with dispatchers and clientele.
• Record work hours with precision and conduct regular vehicle maintenance assessments as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines mandated by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Swiftly report any vehicle-related issues, occurrences, or violations to guarantee adherence to regulations.

Qualifications:

• Possessing an authentic Class A Commercial Driver鈥檚 License (CDL).
• Impeccable driving record free from major violations.
• Fulfilling the DOT's mandates for physical evaluations and drug testing.
• The capability to manage time well and organize efficiently is important.
• Skill in effectively handling and conveying large or unusually big shipments.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service, particularly in building strong connections with clients.
• Prioritizing the implementation of safety protocols and compliance with regulations, with a dedicated approach to reporting incidents promptly.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Participants in our structured 12-week training program for new commercial drivers, designed to accelerate skill development for drivers with experience ranging from three months to five years.

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in operating a range of trailer varieties, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Practical experience in the coordination of different unit activities, combined vehicle operations, and multi-tiered transportation methods.
• Knowledge in dealing with home goods and specialized transport.
