Responsibilities:

• Stress the need to prioritize safety while driving tractor-trailers.
• Conduct meticulous inspections of the vehicle both before and after each trip to validate its roadworthiness.
• Design efficient transportation networks to maximize effectiveness and ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
• Abide by regulations governing the proper handling and packaging of goods to secure their transportation.
• Maintain clarity in communication with dispatchers and clients throughout all stages of the delivery process.
• Document hours worked and regular vehicle upkeep accurately.
• Follow the safety guidelines laid out by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to protect employees and the goods in transit
• Rapidly inform authorities of any vehicle difficulties, incidents, or breaches to sustain compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a commercial driver’s license (CDL) at the Class A level.
• Maintaining a spotless driving history. Adhering to DOT physical examination and drug testing criteria.
• Proficient abilities in organizing time and coordinating various tasks.
• Skilled in the secure and efficient movement of heavy and unwieldy items.
• Skilled in providing exceptional customer care and skilled at nurturing enduring client connections.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance, including the timely reporting of any incidents that may arise.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A curriculum spanning 12 weeks, aimed at facilitating rapid learning for individuals with experience levels that range from three months up to more than five years

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in operating an assortment of trailers, including dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and tankers.
• Knowledge in coordinating multiple deliveries, interchanging transport modes, and moving cars.
• Competence in the handling of household commodities and unique cargo.
