Key Responsibilities:

• Follow safety procedures to avoid mishaps and protect the welfare of individuals engaged in operating commercial vehicles.
• Maintain a safe and efficient operation by carrying out thorough vehicle inspections pre and post travel.
• Supervise and organize the planning of delivery schedules, optimizing routes to enhance transportation efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations concerning the appropriate handling and conveyance of cargo.
• Cultivate and maintain consistent communication channels with dispatchers and clients to optimize operational processes.
• Keep thorough records of both work hours and vehicle servicing logs.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines without taking any unauthorized shortcuts or actions that may put safety at risk.
• Do not hesitate to report any incidents, such as accidents, mechanical faults, or legal violations, to the appropriate authorities promptly.
• Effectively respond to client needs to provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• Hold a legitimate Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Sustain a pristine driving history.
• Meet DOT health regulations and successfully clear a drug screening process.
• Comply with the safety protocols and standards set by the DOT.
• Show proficiency in managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
• Skilled in handling and conveying heavy materials.
• Demonstrate exceptional skills in both communication and customer support.
