Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of tractor-trailers is essential in protecting fellow drivers and avoiding potential hazardous situations on the road.
• Taking the time to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections can help to identify any underlying issues that need immediate attention before hitting the road.
• The creation of efficient delivery routes is a key factor in achieving timely deliveries at each destination.
• The importance of secure transport cannot be understated. Be vigilant when handling goods and follow established protocols to ensure the safety and security of the packages.
• Without clear communication with dispatchers and customers, the process of making successful deliveries can become complicated and challenging.
• Accurately document the amount of time spent working and maintain a thorough record of vehicle maintenance.
• The safety regulations and DOT guidelines exist for a reason, and it's up to us to adhere strictly to them so that we can carry out our work safely and effectively.
• Promptly reporting any vehicle issues, accidents, or violations is an absolute must to comply with safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Hold a legal and acknowledged Class A CDL permit.
• Sporting an untarnished record behind the wheel with no serious infringements.
• Achieve a passing score in the DOT physical exam and drug screening.
• Knowledgeable in adhering to DOT guidelines and safety procedures to meet compliance standards.
• Excellent aptitude for time management and organizing tasks with utmost care.
• Effective management and transportation of weighty materials.
• The foundation of positive client relationships lies in the ability to communicate effectively and provide unparalleled customer service.
• Making sure that vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or disregarding regulations are timely reported is critical in maintaining safety protocols.

• People enrolled in CDL training programs or schools are acquiring the knowledge and honing in the skills required to operate commercial vehicles safely and effectively
