Responsibilities:

• Highlight the crucial role of road safety in the operation of tractor-trailers.
• Be diligent in examining the vehicle before and after trips to affirm its compliance with road safety requirements.
• Establish strategic delivery routes to maximize effectiveness and ensure punctual shipments.
• Make sure to follow the regulations for handling and packaging to ensure the safe delivery of shipments.
• Establish and uphold a transparent line of communication with both dispatchers and customers throughout all delivery tasks.
• Maintain precise records of working hours and routine vehicle maintenance checks.
• Observe the safety protocols delineated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to safeguard employees and merchandise in transit.
• Quickly inform the appropriate personnel about any vehicle malfunctions, events, or transgressions to ensure regulatory conformity.

Qualifications:

• An authentic Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) is a prerequisite.
• Clean driving record.
• Remaining in line with DOT requirements for physical evaluations and drug screening protocols.
• Successful implementation of time management and task coordination skills.
• Specialized in the secure and smooth transportation of bulky and heavy goods.
• Capable of delivering exceptional customer service and forging enduring relationships with clients.
• Strong dedication to safety measures and compliance with regulations, including promptly reporting incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• A 12-week program has been developed to provide a structured training curriculum for commercial drivers who are new to the field. The training is aimed at facilitating accelerated learning for individuals with experience levels ranging from 3 months to over 5 years

Preferred Experience:

• Skilled in operating a range of trailer models, such as dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Experience includes working with double/triple freights, intermodal conveyance methods, and vehicle hauling.
• Proficiency in the transportation and care of household items and unique cargo.
