Responsibilities:

• Keep safety at the forefront when driving tractor-trailers on the roads.
• Ensure that the vehicle is safe for travel by conducting thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Develop optimized delivery routes to streamline operations and ensure on-time deliveries are consistently met.
• Abide by regulations governing the proper handling and packaging of goods to secure their transportation.
• Sustain effective and open dialogue with dispatch personnel and customers during deliveries.
• Record hours invested in work and routine maintenance for vehicles with accuracy.
• Adhere to the safety measures prescribed by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to maintain a safe workplace for staff members and the materials in transit
• Immediately disclose any vehicle concerns, incidents, or violations to uphold regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Holding a commercial driver’s license with a Class A classification.
• Ensuring a clean driving record. Meeting all DOT physical evaluation and drug screening obligations.
• Efficient time management and skillful task coordination capabilities.
• Specialization in the secure and efficient transportation of weighty and sizeable objects.
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a knack for establishing long-term client rapport.
• Prioritizing safety protocols and regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on the timely reporting of incidents.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Participants
• Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
• A structured training curriculum designed for accelerated learning over 12 weeks for individuals with experience levels that may range from three months to five years and above

Preferred Experience:

• Skill in operating diverse trailer types, such as dry van, refrigerated (reefer), flatbed, and tanker units.
• Skillset in overseeing multiple shipments, incorporating intermodal transport, and auto transportation.
• Expert knowledge in managing household goods and unique cargo.
